No Real News

Hey everyone! Thought since I haven't put anyting on here in a few weeks I would go ahead and just drop a line. I know I need to get better at updating this but things have been so crazy with us. We are still trying to get our house ready to put on the market soon! It is getting there but we still have a TON of work to do. There is only one more major project to do (finishing the 1/2 bathroom downstairs) and the rest is just a lot of little things like painting and touching up. We finally accepted an estimate to get the outside of the house painted yesterday (man that is expensive!) so that will start in the next two weeks, I think. Brad was down in Jacksonville Sunday night, Monday, and Tuesday this week. They are getting things ready to start and Brad said probably in two weeks (end of September) he'll be down there permanently. He scouted out some apartments/townhouses for us to rent while he was down there and found one he thinks I'll like...well for the time being anyway. I think he has to go down there next week so he might sign a lease for the last week of September. I know we've known about this move for a while, but it seems like everything is happening so fast now. I have 4 more weeks of work left. Woo hoo! So my last day is definitely going to be the 17th of October. And then after that weekend I'm sure we'll be moving down there. I know Brad wants us down there with him as soon as possible.

On to what everyone wants to know...how is Bryce? Well he is getting so big and growing so fast. I can't believe he is already 3 1/2 months old! Time is going by fast. I know I told people he was rolling from his tummy to his back. Well he is now working on rolling from his back to his stomach. He gets almost all the way over and then chickens out. :-) Any day now we aren't going to be looking and then we'll look over at him and he'll be on his stomach. He doesn't go back to the doctor for his 4 month checkup/shots until October 9th. I'm really curious to see how much he weighs. The last time we weighed him (weighing myself on our bathroom scale and then holding him and weighing us both) he was at 15 lbs! I'm sure he'll be at LEAST 16 in the next two weeks when we go to the doctor's...maybe even more!

Let's see anything else that is going on...Brad and I are going to be joining our friend Melissa and her fiance in Tampa October 19th for the Tampa/Seattle game. I know it isn't a Colts game this year, but I figured Brad would be happy with this and this gives us a chance to scope out Melissa's man, Peter. :) We can't wait. I'm still a little nervous about leaving Bryce for the weekend but know he will be in good hands with my mom. I have a feeling he is going to be super spoiled that weekend!

Speaking of football...our household is buzzing with excitement that football has started back! Here is a picture of Bryce watching his first football game with Daddy:

As you can tell Brad was a little more excited about it than Bryce was! That is because, according to Brad, it wasn't a Seahawks game. Ha ha ha! Of course we all know he is a Colts fan at heart. Shhhh...don't tell Brad that though!














Well that is all that is going on right now, I think anyway! I'm sure there is more, but my brain doesn't work as well as it used to.
