Today we (me, Bryce, my mom, Lauren, and our friend Kim) went to Beachwalker County Park on Kiawah to watch the sea turtle release. This is the second sea turtle release that we've been to and it was SO awesome! The Sea Turtle Hospital release three turtles out there today...Wadmalaw, Kiawah, and Winyah. We got out to Kiawah about 1:30 and found a spot to hang out until the sea turtles arrived. There were a TON of people there to celebrate their release. We played in the sand and water for a little bit before me, Lauren, and Kim staked out a spot in the front to see the turtles. Mom and Bryce hung out and played while we watched the turtles. Bryce LOVES playing in the sand and this time had so much fun walking in the ocean and splashing in the waves (our first experience with the waves was good, but he wasn't so sure about it...but this time he ran right in with no fear!). Watching the sea turtles being released was AWESOME to say the least! It took them a while to get out there so I only watched two of them being released and went back to relieve Mom. So I only got pictures of the first two. We had such a good time out at Kiawah and Bryce was pooped by the end of the day!
