I am a PINNING fool!

It has been a while...I know this...but I'm thinking I might take my blog back up.  Let me rephrase that, I might try to keep up with it more than I have in the past.  I have found the wonders of Pinterest and I LOVE it!  So many crafts, recipes, party ideas...the list goes on and on and I'm HOOKED!  I started just doing recipes that I found and it has worked out GREAT!  Brad loves that I cook almost every night and it is 90% of the time new stuff.  We have started rating each recipe and there have been some definite favorites. 
Crockpot Chicken Tacos..by far this has been the most used and EASIEST Pin I have done to date.  There have been a BUNCH My Board of Pins I've Done and I created a board just so I would have a place to go for the ones I've done.  I've commented on if I liked it or not, how easy it was to make, or if the boys and Brad liked it.  It started off as just recipes, since that was all I was really doing on Pinterest, but has grown to anything else I've done.  I made the cutest banner for Dylan's 1st birthday party and found the idea on Pinterest. 

I'm starting to get in to the craft and DIY side of Pinterest and am actually enjoying it.  LOL  I like to scrapbook, but haven't in a LONG time, but haven't really been a very crafty/DIY kind a girl.  Apparently motherhood has changed me.  LOL  My favorite craft project so far has been my gameday necklaces. 

Not the best picture, but you get the point.  The Clemson necklace was my very first one and I think it turned out rather well.  The only change I would make is finding purple beads that are the same size as the white.  I couldn't find any at Walmart, Michael's, or AC Moore so I just went with the bigger ones.  It doesn't look bad I'm just really OCD about things going together.  I still love it and it is very cute.  I made one for my sis for Georgia and she really likes it too.  Thinking I'm probably going to make a couple for Christmas gifts for friends.  My sister even went as far as to ask the receptionist at the tattoo place (who was a Georgia fan) if she liked it and how much she would pay for one.  She thinks I should make a bunch and sell them on the side.  :-) 

I'm trying to get in to full swing Christmas present making, but I'm having a hard time getting motivated.  Most of this years presents are going to be handmade (more ideas from Pinterest) or partially handmade.  I can't sew so I'm a little limited to what I can do.  I'm hoping to rectify that soon or after the beginning of the year by taking some classes.  I even have a board marked Need to Learn to Sew.  LOL

So that is what is going on with me.  The boys and Brad are GREAT!  We've had a really good/busy summer and for once I'm actually a little ready for fall.  I would be happy with upper 70's temperature wise, cool enough for some jeans, but still warm enough for flip flops.
